The Test of English as a Foreign Language™ (TOEFL®) measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings.
TOEFL iBT emphasizes integrated skills and provides better information to institutions about students' ability to communicate in an academic setting and their readiness for academic coursework. With Internet-based testing, ETS can capture speech and score responses in a standardized manner. Online registration and online score reporting make it easier for students to register for TOEFL iBT and receive their test scores.
This Preparatory Course will help you focus on those areas which you need to work on the most; and in doing so, you will be gaining more perspective and confidence in using the language. The most rewarding aspect of this course is that, at the end, you will notice a significant progress in your overall use of English. Every class is designed to help you gain an understanding on how the exam is set out. You will go through a set of guided exercises which will allow you to focus on aspects of the language that are relevant to each section. Besides the lessons that you will attend, you will have the opportunity to practice at home with the CD. ROM provided.You will be able to go through Listening, Reading, and Writingexercises; and Exam Simulations that will help you improve your ability to use, understand, and Speak English at the level required for the exam.
